When we came home after being in New Mexico we were told about a Indoor Flag Football league. Much to our surprise Gavin was able to play also. So every Thursday we spent 2 1/2 hours at the Taylor
Sportsplex for football.
Spencer enjoyed his time, but not as much as Gavin did. We would laugh because his hair was growing at this time and would fly up as he ran. He likes it so we are going with it. At one game the ball was thrown to Spencer much to his surprise he was able to catch it. He stood there for a minute and looked at the ball in his hand wondering what to do next. It was the cutest thing ever.
Gavin of course loved every minute. He tried his best, but keep in mind he was the smallest on the team. His team was made up of 4 and 5 year
old...he was still 4. After the first game we asked the boys if they had fun, Spencer said "yes" Gavin said " no". At this point I had to ask why and his response was "I didn't like it because I didn't get a touch down." Gotta love him. He never did get a touch down, but came very close a few times. He was great at getting flags though.
During the indoor season we signed them up for Spring outdoor in the
league Spencer has played in in the past. I personally like it better.
